He is a beautiful, true bay roan.Juice stands a solid 18 hands and is still growing. He may be big, but that doesn't stop him from riding like a quarter horse. This boy will do anything you ask and never hesitates. He will slow lope right off with correct leads and beautiful transitions every time. He has a nice big stop and back and can easily spin and roll out. Juice will also take jumps and always shows confidence no matter what you ask him to jump and can easily be an overachiever.Stocks and/or sedation are not needed to trim his hooves. He will stand great for the farrier to do both fronts and hinds. On occasion, he will pull his foot away from the farrier, but it's nothing bad at all. He will willingly let his foot rest on the farrier's stand. This is something we really worked with him on. There is truly nothing you can't teach this horse. You can teach him something in 5 min, and he will get it right every time. You don't need to be shy or afraid to work him. He is the type of horse that likes when your straight forward and if he does something wrong, show him once the right way, and he gets it. Juice has more brains in his head than 10 horses put together.Juice is also said to have been broke to drive and hitches single and double. We, however, never hitched him as I don't have a harness big enough. I honestly do believe that he will drive, though. We have rode him on the rd many times, and he is traffic safe. He will still occasionally shy from big trucks. It's nothing bad as he just reacts but never comes unglued and bolts. He is amazing on trails and absolutely loves water!! He will hang out in the creek all day like a big kid if you let him. keep in mind he is still a kid, so he will occasionally stop to look at things, but if you just ask him to walk on, he does without issue.Juice absolutely loves attention and belly rubs. He will always be the first horse to greet you at the gate and will beg for you to spray him with the hose while you fill his water. His ground manners are perfect!! you can leave him tied all day long, come back, and he will still be standing in the same exact spot. He is super respectful on the ground, never pushes or pulls you, and never ever has he once been buddy or barn sour ever. Juice is very respectful of fences and structures. He is super big, but he has never been one to push his weight and size around. In the pasture he does great with mares, geldings, goats, cows, baby cows, mini donkeys and is great with dogs. Juice is definitely a horse who will truly be missed on our farm as well as our community. We have many neighbors who come and visit Juice regularly on their evening walks and always bring him snacks. We even have had several people stop and ask to take his picture to be used for a calendar. Whoever gets this handsome boy, I hope, will truly love him and take amazing care of him he deserves the best.
