Hello, we’ve had Wanda since she was a puppy and she’s been a great dog. She is very protective of our girls which is great until recently. I began looking after a child with autism who does not understand what is okay for the dog. We’ve tried multiple methods to separate them but when she hears my daughter fussing she will begin scratching the door. We rent and can’t afford the damage from keeping her in separate areas from the kids. She does not like the crate when we tried and tried breaking out to be able to stay near my daughter. We spent a lot of time on this decision it it’s not fair to Wanda to keep her cooped up so much when I am looking after the other girl. She’s been a great and loving dog but I realize we aren’t providing the care she needs or deserves.
