Makara has been a part of our family since the day I rescued her from a box full of puppies in a McDonalds parking lot. She is about 10-11 years old now and really needs a new family who can care for her well into her senior years. She has always been a bit skiddish meeting new people but if she likes and trusts you she will let you know because you will be one of the only people she will stay near and let love on her. She grew up with an older dog brother and two kids as well so she is used to being around others, however she has never been a fan of the neighbor's dogs on the other side of the fence so she is probably best suited to be the only dog in the home unless she has had ample time to meet and warm up to another dog(preferably male).
